'Object Passing' explores the idea of a transmutable 'place' rather than an object that moves. A complex computer-modelled environment similar to a Case Study House was assembled, with a film produced by passing a camera slowly around the space - around furniture and through walls. The entire environment was then duplicated and every object and texture map carefully replaced with substitutes. The exact film was made again using the same camera movements in the new environment.
